The 65th Grammy Awards took place at Crypto.com arena in Los Angeles on Monday morning. Several Hollywood celebrities and leading musicians from across the globe attended one of the biggest musical events of all time. One of the major highlights of the event was when Adele’s dream to meet Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson was fulfilled.
The surprise meeting took place on live TV during the Grammys telecast.
Host Trevor Noah put the spotlight on Adele, who was sitting next to her boyfriend Rich Paul, during the opening ceremony. Noah said, ‘This is one of the strangest thing I've found out. The person that Adele has wanted to meet, but never has is Dwayne Johnson’. As the signer shook her head in agreement, The Rock snuck behind her and gave her the surprise of her life. He greeted her with a hug and a smile.
