One of the most acclaimed series of recent times 'Vida' tells the tale of two sisters Emma and Lynn who hail from Los Angeles. As the series progresses, the two sisters are reunited at their old neighborhood where they gradually find out about the shocking identity of their mother. The gripping thriller series has Melissa Barrera and Mishel Prada in lead roles and is created by Tanya Saracho. The series has an impressive rating of 7.3 on IMDB and is exclusively available on Lionsgate Play.
Power Book IV: Force | 18th March
‘Power Book IV: Force’ is created by Robert Munic. Starring Joseph Sikora, Anthony Fleming, Kris D. Lofton, Gabrielle Ryan in lead, it follows the story of Tommy Egan (Joseph Sikora). He leaves New York behind and plans to take on Chicago, using his outsider status to break all the local rules and rewrite them on his quest to become the biggest drug dealer in the city. The series is a sequel and third spin-off to 'Power' created by Courtney A. Kemp.
Deadlock| 18th March
Deadlock is a Hollywood action film starring legendary Bruce Willis who is known for his action-packed roles. Bruce Willis plays the role of a retired army personnel and works at a Power Plant in Georgia. When the plant is invaded by a group of soldiers, Willis does all he can to control the situation. The action-packed film is helmed by Jared Cohn and he has co-written the film with Cam Cannon. The film will exclusively premiere on Lionsgate Play.
Lakewood| 25th March
Lakewood (The Desperate Hour) is a Naomi Watt starrer thriller helmed by Phillip Noyce. The film centers around Naomi Watts who portrays the role of a mother who wants to save her child at any cost when the authorities impose a lockdown in her town owing to a shooting incident. The film has been shot at the picturesque locations of Ontario, Canada. The film has a rating of 6.2 on IMDB and will be exclusively available on Lionsgate Play from February 25th onwards.
Starstruck (1 and 2)|25th March
Starstruck is a comedy series created by Rose Matafeo, co-written with Alice Snedden, directed by Karen Maine, and starring Matafeo and Nikesh Patel. The film also stars Minnie Driver in a guest appearance role. The plot revolves around a millennial in London juggling two dead-end jobs and navigating the awkward morning-after-the-night-before when she discovers the complications of accidentally sleeping with a film star.
