The Screen Actors Guild Awards were held on Sunday night and the sci-fi multiverse-hopping ‘Everything Everywhere All at Once’ swept the top film awards, including Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture, along with individual acting awards for Michelle Yeoh, Jamie Lee Curtis and Ke Huy Quan.
‘The Whale’ star Brendan Fraser won the top prize for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role.
‘Abbott Elementary’ bagged the SAG award for best ensemble in a comedy series. ‘The White Lotus’ won best ensemble in a drama series and another win for Jennifer Coolidge in Best Female Actor in a Drama Series category.
The first award of the ceremony went to a winner from last year: Jessica Chastain. A year after winning for her lead performance in the film 'The Eyes of Tammy Faye,' she won best female actor in a TV movie or limited series for Showtime's country music power couple series 'George & Tammy.'
