'Emily in Paris' star Ashley Park recently revealed a health scare, sharing pictures from a hospital bed. Park, in her Instagram post, said that she experienced a medical setback over the holidays, adding that she feels "grateful" as her condition has improved significantly.
Ashley, on Friday, sent her fans into shock with her Instagram post revealing her health scare. She wrote, “While on holiday in December into New Year's, what started as tonsillitis spiralled into critical septic shock, which infected and affected several of my organs. The 32-year-old actor further added that "her health “has improved despite what we had initially been told.”
In her post, she also thanked her 'Emily in Paris' co-star and partner, Paul Forman, who is also seen in some of the photos from what appears to be her time in the hospital, for accompanying her through this emotional and physical turmoil and showing his "unconditional" support. “You calmed my fears and held me through ambulances, three foreign hospitals, a week in the ICU, scary ERs, countless scans and tests and injections, excruciating pain, and so much confusion all while we were alone on the other side of the world far from those we know,” she wrote. “I love you, Paul. More than I can ever say.”
Ashely Park won everyone over with her portrayal of free-spirited, fashion-forward Mindy, who ditches her wealthy Chinese family's offerings to live life on her own terms in the Lily Collins starrer. She was recently seen as Madame Park in the recently released Mean Girls musical.
