Cardi B is expecting her third child with husband Offset amid her divorce. The ‘WAP’ rapper recently did a maternity photoshoot which led many on the internet to believe that she is throwing shade on fellow rapper Nicki Minaj.
In the pictures, Cardi B posed on a motorcycle, baring her baby bump. In the backdrop is graffiti art on a shuttered storefront. Fans noticed the word ‘paedophile’ written over the word homesick and guessed that Cardi B is shading Nicki Minaj whose husband was a registered sex offender.
Cardi B denied the speculations on X and clarified that they picked a random street because paps were hounding them. She also said that they had to edit the photos in minutes because the shoot got leaked.
Cardi B’s clarification got some of her fans convinced that the rapper indeed did not have any intention to initiate a new feud, but some saw it as an excuse. Cardi picked up one of such tweets and reiterated that she did not have time and nobody paid attention to the graffiti.
On the personal front, Cardi B filed for divorce from Offset last month amid the cheating rumours. A day after divorce filing, the 31-year-old rapper announced her pregnancy. Cardi B and Offset share a 6-year-old daughter, Kulture and a 3-year-old son Wave.
