'CSI Miami' actor Evan Ellingson dies at 35

Evan Ellingson, a former child actor known for his roles in 'CSI: Miami' and 'My Sister’s Keeper,' has died at the age of 35. He was discovered lifeless in Fontana, California, on November 5, as reported by HuffPost.

The exact cause of his death is not known yet, as per records from the San Bernardino coroner’s office.
His father, Michael Ellingson, informed TMZ that Evan had been living in a sober home before his death. He acknowledged his son's past battles with substance abuse but emphasised that Evan had been improving recently.

Evan started his acting career at the age of 13. He quit the entertainment industry around 2010.
He made appearances in various television shows, including 'General Hospital,' 'Titus,' 'That Was Then,' 'Mad TV,' 'Bones,' and '24.' His talent also extended to the big screen, where he played roles in films such as 'Walk the Talk,' 'Letters from Iwo Jima,' 'Rules of the Game,' and 'The Gristle.'

In the 2009 film 'My Sister’s Keeper,' Evan portrayed the character of Cameron Diaz’s son. This was one of his final film appearances. His last acting credit was for a 2010 episode of 'CSI: Miami,' where he played the character Kyle Harmon for 18 episodes spread across three seasons of the show.
