Cannes 2023: Jonathan Glazer's Nazi film 'The Zone of Interest' receives standing ovation

Hollywood director Jonathan Glazer, who is know for making surreal and abstractive cinema, has now collaborated with A24 studios and presented his latest Neo-Nazi drama ‘The Zone Of Interest’ which was premiered at Cannes Film Festival 2023.

After the screening, the crowd gave Glazer and his actors a six-minute standing ovation. After Glazer’s short speech, the crowd cheered some more.

Glazer said 'I’m really overwhelmed by this. It’s a dream. To be a part of this with you, thank you.'
A24 studios has been known for making films which have intrigued the audience. Another one of their remarkable movies include Sci-fi thriller 'Under The Skin' which came in 2013 and the audience were left speechless by Glazer's vision.

'The Zone of Interest' is based on the 2014 novel of the same name by Martin Amis.
