Los Angeles, Aug 26 (PTI) - Oscar-winning actor Jessica Chastain is set to be honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce announced on its official website that the actress will be awarded the 2,819th star, which will be situated at 6258 Hollywood Boulevard in front of the W Hollywood Hotel.

Chastain will be celebrated during a ceremony on September 4, with esteemed actors Al Pacino and Oscar winner Viola Davis serving as guest speakers.

Chastain is renowned for her roles in films like "The Help," "Zero Dark Thirty," "Interstellar," "The Martian," and "Molly's Game," as well as the series "Scenes from a Marriage."

She won the Academy Award for Best Actress for her role in "The Eyes of Tammy Faye," where she portrayed American evangelist Tammy Faye Bakker.

The 48-year-old actress has also earned a Golden Globe Award, along with nominations for a Primetime Emmy Award, two Tony Awards, and two British Academy Film Awards.

Her upcoming project includes the film "Dreams," directed by Mexican writer-director Michel Franco, who previously directed her in 2023's "Memory."

Chastain will also be the lead in the Apple TV+ limited series "The Savant," based on the true story of a woman infiltrating online hate groups to thwart mass violence.
