Actor Anushka Sharma made her red-carpet debut at the 76th edition of the Cannes Film Festival on May 26. She made heads turn in an off-shoulder white gown with voluminous flower detailing.
Anushka shared a series of pictures from the event on social media and her husband, cricketer was quick to react to her post. He dropped heart eyes emojis in the comment section.
Anushka Sharma was present at the event to honour women in cinema alongside 'Titanic' actress Kate Winslet. She was seen posing on the red carpet with Eva Longoria, Andie MacDowell, Renata Notni.
Besides Anushka, celebrities like Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Sara Ali Khan, Esha Gupta, Diana Penty, Surveen Chawla, and others have already made their Cannes appearances this year. The prestigious festival ends on May 27.
On the work front, Anushka was last seen in a cameo in the Netflix film ‘Qala’, starring Tripti Dimri. Her next film is ‘Chakda Xpress’, which is inspired by the life and times of Indian women's cricket’s fast bowler Jhulan Goswami. The film will stream exclusively on Netflix later this year.
