Actor Yami Gautam recently spoke about wearing her mother's saree for her wedding. She revealed how a handful of designers could be 'mean' who do not allow a person to wear their designs unless they had a particular personality. She said the case wasn’t similar with every designer as some of them were really good with their work.
In an interview with Indian Express, Yami said, "I don’t understand what the criteria is, how can you make someone feel so bad? But it’s not true for all designers, some of them are really good with their work and their attitude”.

That’s why she had made up her mind that when it would be her special day, it was going to be her way! That explains the reason why Yami chose to wear her mother's saree at her wedding.
