Actor Anushka Sharma and cricketer Virat Kohli have welcomed their second child. The couple made the announcement about their child on their Instagram handles.

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma in a post on Instagram informed everyone about the second child. The Power couple also revealed their baby boy’s name in the post. They have named their second child ‘Akaay', which means full moon. Virat and Anuska wrote in the post, “With abundant happiness and our hearts full of love, we are pleased to inform everyone that on 15th February, we welcomed our baby boy Akaay and Vamika’s little brother into this world!”
The couple sought blessings and good wishes as they announced the news. The couple said, “We seek your blessings and good wishes in this beautiful time in our lives.” The celeb couple also urged everyone to respect their privacy.
Speculations have been rife on social media about Anushka’s pregnancy for quite some time. The rumours gained momentum after star Indian cricketer withdrew from the first two Test matches against England in January and then eventually was left out of the remaining three tests as well.
Virat and Anushka got married in 2017 and were blessed with their first child named Vamika in 2021.
