Vijay Varma revealed that he cried watching Vidhu Vinod Chopra's critically acclaimed film ‘12th Fail’, and added that Vikrant Massey’s performance moved him.

Vijay was interacting with fans in a fun Q&A session where he was asked, "Ever cried watching a movie/series (name it)". Vijay replied, "I am a crier (not a liver). I cried watching 12th Fail this evening. Vikrant Massey made me weep a lot (red heart emoticon)."

Earlier Kareena Kapoor praised the Vikrant Massey-starrer film and called him a ‘legend.’ Kareena took to her Instagram stories and wrote, “12th Fail, Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Vikrant Massey, Medha Shankar, Anant Joshi, Anshuman Pushkar and the entire cast and crew… Legends.”

12th Fail was released in theatres in October 2023. The film is now streaming on Disney Plus Hotstar. Directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, 12th Fail is based on the life of IPS officer Manoj Kumar Sharma. It is based on a novel by Anurag Pathak and it showcases the struggles of millions of students who attempt the UPSC entrance exam.

Vikrant Massey will next be seen in Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba.
