Actor Varun Dhawan issued a clarification on Twitter after netizens dubbed him 'embarrassing' for his antics at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre in Mumbai on Saturday. A video of Varun bringing supermodel Gigi Hadid on stage and spinning her went viral online and several netizens thought she was uncomfortable.
Varun tweeted that the whole act was pre-planned and asked the Twitteratis to find a new cause to vent about. Varun Dhawan's fans have thanked him for the clarification.
Apart from from Varun, Shah Rukh Khan's performance on 'Jhoome Jo Pathaan' fascinated the audience. The audience was captivated by Pathaan's performance. Varun and Ranveer also appeared on stage with Shah Rukh. Priyanka Chopra and Ranveer Singh looked happy as they performed a song from their film 'Dil Dhadakne Do'. Meanwhile, Rashmika Mandanna and Alia Bhatt stunned the audience with their performance on 'Naatu Naatu'.
