'No Entry' 2 is happening! Producer Boney Kapoor has confirmed that the sequel of his hit 2005 multi-starrer comedy is in the works with actors Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh and Arjun Kapoor. The original film starred Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor and Fardeen Khan. Directed by Anees Bazmee, 'No Entry' was a box-office success.
Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh and Arjun Kapoor will headline the follow-up to the hit comedy 'No Entry,' producer Boney Kapoor has confirmed. In an interview with indianexpress.com, Kapoor confirmed that the second instalment is ready to be rolled out with a new cast. “The film is on cards, and we are set for it. It is a big one and we will probably start rolling by December this year. We have got Varun, Arjun and Diljit. There will be a lot of actresses as well.”
With Varun, Diljit and Arjun on board, the film already has the audience's interest piqued. The original stars won't return for the new movie, said Boney Kapoor, adding the team is now in the process of casting ten female actors for the project.
"That chapter is over. Now, we have Diljit, Varun and Arjun in the film. Varun and Arjun are best of friends, and Diljit is fantastic at comedy. So, I think this makes for a good and interesting combination," the producer told PTI. “While, the male actors and Bazmee are locked, the 10 female leads are yet to be cast in the film,” he added.
'No Entry' 2 will go on floors in December. More details on the film are awaited.
