Urmila Matondkar files for divorce from husband Mohsin Akhtar Mir after 8 years of marriage

Urmila Matondkar has filed for divorce from her husband, Mohsin Akhtar Mir, after eight years of marriage. Reports indicate that she filed for divorce about four months ago in a Bandra, Mumbai court. Sources suggest that the separation is not mutual, and the reasons behind the divorce are unclear.

The couple got married in an intimate ceremony on February 4, 2016. Their wedding was a private affair attended by close friends and family. They were known for their close bond despite their 10-year age difference. They met through mutual friend and designer Manish Malhotra at his niece's wedding in 2014. 

Urmila has not publicly commented on the divorce but it's her social media activity that has raised eyebrows. She currently follows 150 people on Instagram, but Mohsin is not one of them. However, she hasn't removed pictures of them together. She is yet to respond to the developments.
