Actor Triptii Dimri has been IMDb’s most popular Indian celebrity for multiple weeks, thanks to the success of ‘Animal’, however, it wasn’t an easy journey for the actor. Shedding light on her decision to work in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s film and much more, India’s new ‘national crush’ spoke to Vogue. In an interview with the magazine, Triptii Dimri revealed about her parents’ reaction to her intimate scenes with Ranbir Kapoor in the film ‘Animal’.

‘My parents were Rattled’

Talking about her intimate scenes, Triptii said that her parents were rattled when they saw the film. “We had to have a long discussion on why that scene was crucial,” the actor said.
This is not the first time that the actor has opened up about the bold scenes in the film. Infact,  Triptii had earlier revealed in an interview that only 5 people were allowed on the set when the scenes between her and Ranbir were shot. Additionally, Ranbir would constantly check on her if she was okay while filming the scenes.

Triptii on choosing ‘Animal’

The ‘Animal’ actor said that she chose to do the role because she found the character interesting despite the director clearly telling her that it is going to be a small role. Responding to the criticism that she received for her role, she said, “If we start making decisions based on what audiences are going to say, then as actors, we won’t ever be able to do what we want to do.”

About Triptii’s upcoming projects

Riding high on the success of ‘Animal’, Triptii has become the first choice of all Bollywood filmmakers. She will next be seen in ‘Mere Mehboob Mere Sanam’, ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’, ‘Aashiqui 3’, ‘Dhadak 2’ and ‘Animal Park’.
