Actor Sonam Kapoor recently opened up on why she chose businessman Anand Ahuja as her husband. She took to Instagram stories and re-shared a beautiful post dedicated to fathers and gave mother Sunita Kapoor the credit for 'picking right' by marrying Anil Kapoor. She said that played a role when her sister producer-stylist Rhea Kapoor and her chose their life partners.
Sharing the post, she wrote, ‘That’s why Rhea Kapoor and I picked Anand Ahuja and Karan Boolani, because Sunita Kapoor picked right. I am giving mom credit…’

Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in Mumbai on May 8, 2018. The couple welcomed their first child, son Vayu Kapoor Ahuja, on August 20 this year.
Meanwhile, Sonam's sister Rhea Kapoor married filmmaker Karan Boolani on August 14, 2021. Rhea had an intimate wedding ceremony at Anil Kapoor’s bungalow. The couple had been dating for about 12 years.
