The Indian box office is set to witness all the fireworks this Diwali. While rumours earlier suggested that the makers of 'Singham Again' have postponed the release date of the film to avoid a clash with 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3', a new Hindustan Times report has confirmed that the Ajay Devgn starrer will arrive in theatres on Diwali. Anees Bazmee recently asserted that the 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3' will not defer its release date to avert the box office showdown.
A source told Hindustan Times, "It is going to be a Diwali release for Singham Again. The team is not in the mood to change anything. Also, the trailer launch is expected to take place on either October 2 or 3.”
Meanwhile, in an interview recently, Anees Bazmee was asked if he has discussed the film’s clash with Ajay Devgn. The filmmaker said he hasn’t and added that the producers take the decision surrouding the box office clash. “Why should I talk to him? It’s a business decision between producers, and I am just the director. Singham Again’s team is insisting on a Diwali release. Clashes are never a good idea. I know that we had announced Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’s release date a year in advance, but what can we do? I’ve always maintained that a good film doesn’t need a date to work,” he said.
'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3' stars Kartik Aaryan in the lead. The film marks Vidya Balan’s return to the celebrated horror-comedy franchise and also stars Triptii Dimri and Madhuri Dixit.
'Singham Again' is the third film in the hit 'Singham' franchise and features Ajay Devgn in the leading role.
