Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra will be tying the knot soon at Jaisalmer’s Suryagarh Palace. The actors’ Sangeet ceremony was held last evening and it was attended by guests such as Shahid Kapoor, Mira Rajput, Karan Johar and Manish Malhotra among others.
A video from the venue shows the Suryagarh Palace all decked up for the function and loud music could be heard in the background. The security there was tightened as well hinting at a celebration taking place inside the hotel.
Kiara’s family reportedly surprised her with a dance performance. Some of the songs they performed on are 'Ranjha', 'Rangisari' and 'Sajan Ji' among others.
Last evening, Juhi Chawla, too, reached Jaisalmer to attend the wedding. As per reports, Varun Dhawan and Rohit Shetty will also be part of the celebrations. Sidharth and Kiara’s wedding costumes have been designed by Manish Malhotra.
The couple will host a wedding reception in Mumbai later.
Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani first met during the wrap up party of 2018 anthology ‘Lust Stories’ in which latter had featured. The stars then shared screen space in ‘Shershaah’, directed by Vishnuvardhan.
