Actor-singer Shehnaaz Gill's father Santokh Singh Sokhi Gill recently received death threats over phone calls, following which he filed a complaint to the SSP of the Amritsar Rural Police.
He said that the caller identified himself as Happy and he allegedly threatened to kill him before Diwali. While speaking to the media about the matter, he said that he was associated with various Hindu organizations and therefore he was getting threats.
He requested the police to investigate the matter or else he'll have to leave Punjab and settle somewhere else. It's not the first time that he's been threatened. In December 2021, days after he joining the Bhartiya Janata Party, he was reportedly attacked by two men.
His daughter Shehnaaz Gill will next feature in 'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan' along with Salman Khan and Venkatesh.
