Actor Shehnaaz Gill, who recently made her Bollywood debut with Salman Khan’s ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’, has revealed that the ‘industry is not open’ for everyone and one has to make a place for themselves to succeed. She further shared that things are not easy for her as well and whatever she is achieving is because of her hard work.

In an interview with ETimes, Shehnaaz said, ‘Industry open nahi hoti, open karni padti hai. You have to work on yourself… apne aap ko change karke. Mere liye kuch bhi open nahi hai, main jo kar rahi hoon, apni mehnat se kar rahi hoon (Industry is not open, you have to open it. You have to change yourself. Nothing is open for me. Whatever I am doing, I am doing it with hard work).’
Before venturing into the Hindi film industry, Shehnaaz gained massive popularity with her stint in the popular reality show ‘Bigg Boss 13’. She has also worked in Punjabi films and several music videos.

Shehnaaz doesn’t want her fans to get ‘bored’ of her and thus believes in reinventing herself to keep herself relevant among the audience. She added, ‘If you present yourself the way you are and give nothing new to your audience, then they will get bored. Hum public figure hai (we are public figures) and if we don’t offer variety to the audience, they will get bored of us.’

Shehnaaz Gill will be next be seen in Rhea Kapoor’s film alongside Anil Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar.
