Shah Rukh Khan has emerged as India's top tax-paying celebrity for 2024, paying a whopping ₹92 crore. Following him is actor Vijay, who contributed ₹80 crore in taxes, while Salman Khan paid ₹75 crore.
Veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan is also among the top ten, with a tax payment of ₹71 crore. Cricketer Virat Kohli, who is fifth on the list, paid ₹66 crore. Ajay Devgn follows in the sixth spot with ₹42 crore, and MS Dhoni is seventh with ₹38 crore. Ranbir Kapoor ranks eighth with a tax payment of ₹36 crore. Hrithik Roshan and Sachin Tendulkar both paid ₹28 crore.
Several female celebrities also made significant tax contributions. Kareena Kapoor paid ₹20 crore, while Kiara Advani and Katrina Kaif both paid ₹11 crore each.
