Shah Rukh Khan and Rajkumar Hirani are reportedly coming together for a new project after the success of 'Dunki', which was released last year. For the upcoming film, Shah Rukh will team up with Samantha Ruth Prabhu, reports have suggested. Touted as an action-adventure patriotic film, the yet-to-be-titled project marks the first collaboration between SRK and Samantha.
According to a Filmfare report, 'Dunki' duo Shah Rukh Khan and Rajkumar Hirani have joined hands for a new project. The upcoming film will star Samantha opposite SRK, marking the pair's first collaboration on screen. Previously, Shah Rukh was seen romancing lady superstar Nayanthara in Atlee's 'Jawan'. The details, like the plot, rest of the cast, and name, of the forthcoming have not yet been finalised. However, a fan page of Shah Rukh Khan has suggested that the project will officially be announced on the occasion of Independence Day.
After a lot of back and forth, Shah Rukh has locked his next film– 'The King'. The actioner will mark the big screen debut of his daughter Suhana Khan. Reportedly, the actor was to star in an extended cameo in the film initially, but after much deliberation, the makers later worked around on the script to feature him in the leading role. The film will be mounted on a huge scale of Rs 200 crores, reportedly.
Samantha will next be seen in 'Citadel: Honey Bunny' opposite Varun Dhawan. The action thriller, helmed by Raj & DK, is the official Indian adaptation of the Russo Brothers' multi-series. She also has 'Bangaram' in the pipeline, which will also mark her maiden film as a producer under her banner Tralala Moving Pictures.
