Superstar Shah Rukh Khan received an honorary award at the second edition of the Red Sea International Film Festival in Jeddah on Thursday night. He was among the many celebrities who attended the event from across the world including American actor Sharon Stone, British director Guy Ritchie, iconic filmmaker Oliver Stone and Egyptian icon Yousra. AR Rahman, Kajol, and Priyanka Chopra were also present at the event.

During his acceptance speech, SRK addressed the icons present at the event. He requested Ritchie for an autograph, while he mentioned that if Sharon allows him to sit with her, he promises to look at her for the rest of his life. Coincidentally, the duo was seated together and her reaction is going viral on the internet.

The festival also hosted a screening of Shah Rukh Khan’s 1994 film ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’ and the actor was seen sharing the stage with his co-star Kajol. A video has surfaced online in which SRK is heard singing the famous song from the movie ‘Tujhe Dekha toh..’ as the crowd cheers for them. He recreated certain scenes from DDLJ and Kajol could not stop smiling.

On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan has three major releases in 2023 ‑ ‘Pathaan’, director Atlee’s ‘Jawan’ with Nayanthara, and Rajkumar Hirani’s ‘Dunki’ with Taapsee Pannu.
