Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan have reunited on screen after 17 years for a commercial of a popular masala brand. The ad was released online on the day SRK’s action thriller ‘Jawan’ hit the theatres.
In the commercial, Shah Rukh and Big B are seen exiting their respective vanity fans as they attempt to head back home after the shoot. Paparazzi waiting outside hound them and prevent them from enjoying the biryani waiting for them at home.
The two stars then make eye contact and scream ‘Alia’ making the paps run away in different directions in order to capture the ‘Raazi’ actor on camera. This allows Amitabh and Shah Rukh to head towards their respective cars.
Shah Rukh and Amitabh invoking Alia in the new ad comes a week after Shah Rukh referred to her in the trailer of ‘Jawan’.
Shah Rukh has shared screen space with Alia in Gauri Shinde's 2016 film ‘Dear Zindagi’. Amitabh also worked with Alia in Ayan Mukerji's 2022 film ‘Brahmastra’.
SRK and Big B have worked together in three films – ‘Mohabbatein’, ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’, and ‘Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna’.
