The makers of ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’ have released the latest track from their film, titled ‘Pasoori Nu’.
The song, which is a remake of singers Ali Sethi and Shae Gill's popular Pakistani song ‘Pasoori’, has been sung by Arijit Singh and Tulsi Kumar.
The lyrics are written by Gurpreet Saini and Ali Sethi.
The video shows Kartik and Kiara romancing each other on sets and against the backdrop of beautiful snowcapped mountains.
The ‘Pasoori’ remake has left the netizens divided. While some are praising the song and Arijit, a section of netizens is unimpressed and they believe that the original Pakistani song should have been left alone.
One of the fans, said, ‘Arijit sir’s version of Pasoori, The best gift for every music fan.
Another said, ‘Wow..completely different lyrics, except the hoook line .thanks for this different version..Absolute Goosebumps.’
‘No one can beat the original,’ wrote one. Another said, ‘Why can’t Bollywood come up with fresh songs instead of lifting them from everywhere.’
‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’ will release in theatres on June 29.
In an interview with Hello magazine, Kartik Aaryan spoke about the musical drama and said, ‘I think the love and craze for romantic movies is still alive. Bollywood has always been known for its iconic romantic films, but I guess they’re trickier than even comedy. Today, the definition of love has changed, even though the emotion remains the same. When I pick a romantic movie, I make sure it has something real for the audience to connect with, for them to relate their relationships with.’
