Salman Khan is an actor who is known for hard work and fulfilling his work commitments. A day after two gunmen fired shots outside his Bandra residence, reports are emerging that the actor will not let the incident and threats come in the way of his work commitments.
According to an India Today report, the actor has decided to continue with his professional commitments and won’t cancel the work plans. The report quoted a source as saying, “Salman is very much focused on going about his work as planned earlier. He doesn’t want to give attention to those behind this firing incident because he feels that is exactly what they want. Instead, he has asked friends and actors from the industry not to worry. Further, he also asked them not to make any visits to Galaxy Apartments as it is getting inconvenient for other members of the society as well,”
Even though Salman Khan and his family have refrained from making any public comments about the firing incident, the superstar’s father Salim Khan told News 18 that it is not something to worry about. “There is nothing to tell. They just want publicity, there is no need to worry,” Salim Khan told News 18.
Meanwhile, Mumbai Police have increased security outside the actor’s Mumbai residence after two bike-borne gunmen fired shots outside Salman’s Galaxy apartment. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde also took note and spoke to the actor. Police have arrested one of the suspects involved in the shooting, who has been identified as Vishal alias Kalu.
