Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal, whose marriage was postponed due to the pandemic, are all set to tie the knot this September end, according to Pinkvilla. As per the report, two ceremonies will be held– one in Mumbai and the other in Delhi.

Ali and Richa first met in 2012 on the sets of ‘Fukrey’ and soon fell in love. The couple made their relationship official at the World premiere of ‘Victoria and Abdul’ (2017) in Venice. The ‘House Arrest’ actor reportedly proposed to Richa when they were on a vacation in the Maldives.

The couple was to get married in 2020, but it got delayed due to the pandemic. Initial reports had suggested that they will tie the knot in March 2022.

Recently, in an interview with Mashable India, Richa was asked about her wedding. She said, ‘Whenever we think of getting married, a new (Covid-19) variant comes. In 2020, we had booked places also, but the first wave came, followed by lockdown and destruction. Last year again, in February, we had confidence and talks started. The second wave experience was the worst in India. Quite sad’.

On the work front, Richa Chaddha has ‘Fukrey 3’ and ‘Abhi Toh Party Shuru Hui Hai’ in the pipeline. Whereas, Ali Fazal has Hollywood film ‘Kandahar’, co-starring Gerard Butler and ‘Khufiya’ in his kitty.
