Shilpa Shetty’s husband-businessman Raj Kundra has been hiding his face from the paparazzi ever since his arrest in an infamous pornography related case last year. On the auspicious occasion of Karwa Chauth, he was spotted outside Anil Kapoor’s home and he entered the venue by covering his face with a sieve.
In a video that has surfaced online, Raj can be seen carrying a customized sieve with ‘SSK’ (Shilpa Shetty’s initials) written on it. When the paparazzi asked him to pose for pictures, he hid his face behind the sieve and walked inside the gate.
Fans are trolling the businessman for the incident. While one user wrote, ‘Chand chupa channi mein (Moon is hidden behind a sieve).’ Another Instagram user said, ‘Vaise ye mask bhi achcha hai (This mask is also good).’ A comment also read, ‘I am laughing like insane.’ Raj can be seen wearing a grey colored checks kurta and has layered it with a black Nehru Jacket.
A few hours later, actor Shilpa Shetty shared a glimpse of the celebrations. In the picture clicked by Anil Kapoor, she is seen performing the Karwa Chauth rituals with husband Raj. The duo posed on the terrace and the actor held a sieve near Raj. Sharing the picture she wrote, ‘MINE .. In this lifetime.. Karva Chauth .. When he fasts for you too. Gratitude.’
Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra tied the knot on November 22, 2009. The two became parents to son Viaan in May 2012. They welcomed daughter Samisha, who was born via surrogacy, in February 2020.
