‘Pathaan’: Shah Rukh Khan's film scripts history, becomes first Hindi film to enter Rs 500 crore club

Pathaan’, starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, is showing no signs of slowing down its dream run at the box office ever since its release. SRK’s comeback venture has broken several records both in India and worldwide. Now, the Siddharth Anand directorial has scripted history by becoming the first Hindi film to breach ₹ 500 cr mark.

‘Pathaan’ is also the highest-grossing Hindi film worldwide and to celebrate this feat top theater chains of India - PVR, Inox, Cinepolis, Miraj, Movietime, MuktaA2 & other participating cinemas have come together to celebrate this Friday (February 17) as ‘Pathaan’ Day. They have decided that every ticket of the film will be priced at Rs.110 across all theaters in these chains.

‘Pathaan’ is the fourth installment in the YRF Spy Universe. The movie was released on January 25, 2023, along with dubbed versions in Tamil and Telugu. Salman Khan also plays an explosive cameo in the film.
