Palak Tiwari, who is busy promoting her forthcoming film ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’, has clarified her remark about Salman Khan barring women from wearing low-neckline dresses on sets. She said that her statement was taken out of context and Salman is not ‘narrow-minded’.
In an interview with Connect FM Canada, Palak said, ‘I have so much love for him in my heart. One thing that Salman sir is not, is ‘narrow minded’. He is not somebody that will ever try to curtail anybody in any sort of way. Maybe I did a poor job at expounding my thoughts, but what I meant by that was he is somebody that I really revere.’
Palak further stated that her comment was just how a girl often has that emotion when she is with her father or someone they truly love and respect.
Earlier, speaking with Siddharth Kannan, Palak had said, ‘When I was AD-ing with Salman sir on Antim, Salman sir had a rule: ‘Every girl on my set, the neckline should be here, all the girls should be covered, like good proper girls.'
‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’, directed by Farhad Samji, is all set to release in theatres on April 21.
