Netflix India has unveiled the teaser of the forthcoming film ‘Murder Mubarak’ and announced its release date.
In the teaser, Pankaj Tripathi's Bhavani Singh investigates a murder with seven suspects: Sara Ali Khan, a 'princess from South Delhi', Vijay Varma, a 'deadly lover from Chandni Chowk', Karisma Kapoor, the 'dream girl of suspense films', Dimple Kapadia, an 'eccentric, drunk artist', Sanjay Kapoor, the 'royal', Tisca Chopra, a 'gossipmonger', and Suhail Nayyar, the 'party animal'.
Sharing the teaser, Netflix India wrote, 'Itne saare colorful kirdaar, aur ye sab aapko badhai dene aaye hai - MURDER MUBARAK!
#MurderMubarak, coming on 15th March, only on Netflix!'
The film, directed by Homi Adajania, will be released on March 15.
‘Mystery Mubarak,’ a horror, comedy, and thriller film directed by Homi Adajania and produced by Dinesh Vijan, concluded filming in April 2023.
Before this, Karisma Kapoor's last film was the 2012 supernatural thriller ‘Dangerous Ishhq,’ co-starring Jimmy Sheirgill, Rajneesh Duggal, and Divya Dutta. Regarding comebacks, Karisma expressed her aversion in 2023, stating, ‘The word comeback should be packed and parcelled away. Let's not keep doing that to us actors. When someone comes back to the office after a few years, is it a comeback into the corporate world? They're just back to work. That should be the way with actors, whether male or female, especially for females. People tend to reference the 'comeback' label too often and too easily.’
Sara Ali Khan was last seen in ‘Zara Hatke Zara Bachke’ alongside Vicky Kaushal.
Besides ‘Murder Mubarak’, Pankaj Tripathi will next be seen in ‘Stree 2’, ‘Rudra’ and ‘Metro In Dino’.
Vijay Varma was last seen in ‘Jaane Jaan’ with Kareena Kapoor and Jaideep Ahlawat. Apart from ‘Murder Mubarak’, he will be seen in Tamil film ‘Suriya43’ and ‘Ul Jalool Ishq’.
