On the occasion of his birthday, the makers of ‘Liger’ took to the social media and posted the ‘Liger theme’. The video starts off with Vijay doing rope skipping on the rocks. This is followed by a series of physical activities that Vijay gets himself into and then, gradually a few clips from the film is also shown. The background music simply pumps up the audience’s attention.

Earlier in the day, Vijay had posted an inspirational video on social media. He had titled the video post as, “My Birthday Morning thoughts -Between you and Me. I love you all. Sending strength your way”. In the video, while sipping his beverage, Vijay says, “When you have to fight for your food from a very young age, you learn the hunt. I have had to fight for every bit of respect, security, and my place in the world. I have had to fight for every ticket sold, I have had to fight for each and every one of you, for your love, your belief, your support. I feel your loved every day, I feel it today especially. And to all those fighting for yourself and your families, never stop the hunt. Today, I dedicate the song ‘Liger Hunt’ to all of you. Thank you”.
Besides Vijay Deverakonda, ‘Liger’ stars Ananya Panday, Ramya Krishnan, Ronit Roy, Vishu Reddy, Makrand Deshpande and also the boxing legend Mike Tyson (who makes his Bollywood debut with this film). The film is being directed by Puri Jagannadh. ‘Liger’ is all set to release on 5 August 2022. The film will be released in 5 languages- Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.
