The much-awaited teaser of Ajay Devgn's 'Maidaan' is out. The film is a sports drama dedicated to the golden years of Indian football. The actor will be seen in the role of legendary coach Syed Abdul Rahim, who is widely known as the founding father of Indian football.

The teaser opens at the 1952 Helsinki Olympics. India takes on Yugoslavia in a nearly flooded pitch, and that too barefoot. It highlights the Indian team’s struggle and more. Ajay Devgn's various emotions as a coach are also depicted.
Directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma and co-produced by Boney Kapoor and Zee Studios, ‘Maidaan’ releases on June 23, 2023.
