Kunal Kemmu’s directorial debut 'Madgaon Express' has hit the big screens and the moviegoers who watched the film have given out their verdict on social media. The film stars Avinash Tiwary, Pratik Gandhi, Divyendu Sharma, and Nora Fatehi in lead roles.
The comedy film is receiving positive response for making the audience laugh. Applauding the cast and comedy, one X user wrote, “Watched #MadgaonExpress today it's tooo funny film every cast of the film @norafatehi @divyenndu @avinashtiw85 @pratikg80 were brilliant and awesome and @kunalkemmu is a brilliant director. I personally loved this film and enjoyed every second of the film it's a must watch film.”
Another X user wrote, “#MadgaonExpress is rib-ticklingly funny. Imagine Hangover meets Delhi Belly in Dil Chahta Hai universe. Whacky, ridiculously entertaining. Chhaya Kadam and Upendra Limaye own the show (specially in two scenes - one involving cars and another inside a train).” “It’s been many, many, many years since I have laughed as hard as I did while watching #MadgaonExpress What a madcap movie,” wrote a third user.
However, there were few who did not find the film entertaining and funny enough. Criticising the film, one moviegoer wrote, “Watching #MadgaonExpress...Is this supposed to be funny?”
The film follows the story of three friends who are desperately looking forward for a Goa trip, but on reaching Goa, the trio lands up in trouble. The film marks Kunal Kemmu’s directorial debut who is known for films like ‘Kalyug’ and ‘Go Goa Gone’. Speaking about the film, Kemmu told PTI that it is an ode to his first journey to Goa.
