‘Madgaon Express’ teaser: Kunal Kemmu's film promises 'multiverse of madness’; trailer out on this date

Kunal Kemmu’s directorial debut ‘Madgaon Express’ will star Pratik Gandhi, Divyenndu, and Avinash Tiwary in lead roles. The film, described as a comedy entertainer, is produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani's Excel Entertainment.

Kunal and the makers shared the teaser of the forthcoming film on social media on March 1.

‘Buckle up for #MadgaonExpress, a wild journey through the multiverse of madness,’ Kunal wrote.

The teaser of the film showcases three actors, known for their serious roles, venturing into comedic territory. Pratik, famous for playing Harshad Mehta in ‘Scam 1992,’ is introduced as ‘the wolf of Dalal Street.’ Divyenndu, known as Munna in ‘Mirzapur,’ is labeled as ‘the prince of Mirzapur,’ while Avinash Tiwary, recognized as Dara in ‘Bambai Meri Jaan,’ is called ‘the king of Mumbai.’

The video then reveals their characters in ‘Madgaon Express’: Divyenndu as Dodo, Pratik as Pinku, and Avinash as Ayush. The film also features Nora Fatehi, Upendra Limaye, and Chhaya Kadam in significant roles.

According to the film's synopsis, ‘Madgaon Express’ follows the journey of three childhood friends on a trip to Goa that derails completely.

Kunal Kemmu's directorial debut is supported by Excel Entertainment, known for producing films like ‘Fukrey,’ ‘Rock On,’ and ‘Don.’

Alongside the cast announcement, the makers revealed that the trailer will be released on March 5. Taglined ‘Bachpan ke sapne.... lag gaye apne,’ the film is written and directed by Kunal Kemmu and is scheduled to hit theatres on March 22.
