‘Leo’: Anurag Kashyap teams up with Vijay and Sanjay Dutt for Lokesh Kanagaraj’s film

The cast of Vijay Thalapathy’s forthcoming film ‘Leo’ is getting bigger. According to the latest reports, filmmaker Anurag Kashyap has also joined the team of the Lokesh Kanagaraj directorial and will start shooting for his portions soon.


‘Leo’ also stars Trisha, Gautham Menon, director Mysskin, and Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt.
Film critic Sreedhar Pillai took to Twitter to announce the news. He wrote, ‘Now noted director #AnuragKashyap joins other directors like #Mysskin & #GauthamMenon in playing a role in #ThalapathyVijay’s #LokeshKanagaraj directed big budget action extravaganza multi-starrer #Leo!’


Besides Anurag Kashyap, Mysskin and Gautham Menon are the other directors to come on board for the film as actors.


Sanjay is believed to be playing the antagonist in the film.


Earlier, Anurag had expressed his desire to work with Lokesh in a conversation with IndiaGlitz. He said, ‘I want to do a death scene in Lokesh’s film. He gives glorious death to his actors.

I want to die in one of his films. I just don’t need a role. I need to just die in a glorious way in his film’


‘Leo’ is speculated to be part of Lokesh Kanagaraj’s cinematic universe which includes Kamal Haasan’s ‘Vikram’ and Karthi starrer ‘Kaithi’.

The film is set to release in theatres on October 19.


The film’s first track ‘Naa Ready’ was recently released for the fans.
