Kangana Ranaut shared an old video of filmmaker Karan Johar responding to her 'movie mafia' remark by saying he isn't 'interested in working with her.' Kangana took to Instagram Stories to share an edited clip of Karan's remark and her reaction.
The actor captioned the video, 'Chacha Chaudhary, thank you for these frivolous outbursts when I establish myself as a filmmaker and producer...I'm going to rub these in your face...' When Kangana appeared on Karan Johar's chat show Koffee With Karan a few years ago, she referred to him as the 'flagbearer of nepotism' and the 'movie mafia.'
Karan spoke about Kangana at a London School of Economics event in 2017. 'What does she mean by'movie mafia'. What does she think we're up to? Sitting and doing nothing? Is that what defines us as mafia? No, we do it on purpose. I do this because I might not want to work with her,' Karan had said.
On the work front, Kangana will be next seen in 'Emergency' in which she is portraying former prime minister Indira Gandhi.
