Jaya Bachchan has finally revealed why she stays away from social media. In the promo of ‘What The Hell Navya’s upcoming episode, Jaya made the revelation.

Navya was seen addressing Jaya Bachchan and Shweta Bachchan as “wise people of the internet”. Talking about why she stays away from the internet, Jaya shared, “There’s enough that the world knows about us. We don’t need to share on Instagram”.

Shweta expressed, “I wish we had the internet when I was growing up because it would have made homework and stuff so much easier.” To this, Jaya added, “When I was young, we had to book a call, and there were two types of calls: one was ordinary, and the one was an emergency call. If you spoke to your boyfriend, it had to be an emergency call.”

When Navya mentioned that social media trolls might not even dare to speak if they sit in front of Jaya. To this Jaya said, “They won’t have the courage.” “If you are actually brave, then comment on actual issues and show your face,” she added.

Navya Nanda started her podcast ‘What The Hell Navya’ on YouTube in 2002. In her podcast, she discusses issues faced by women in society with her mom Shweta and grandmother Jaya Bachchan.
