Actor Jacqueline Fernandez has moved an application in the Delhi court seeking permission to travel abroad for 15 days to attend the IIFA Awards in Abu Dhabi. The actor has been on the radar over her alleged ties with the conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar.
Due to Jacqueline's connection with the case, she was stopped from traveling abroad in December last year. As per the reports, Jacqueline Fernandez is being investigated by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in a ₹200 crore extortion case involving conman Chandrasekhar.
Reports state that Jacqueline Fernandez has now moved an application in a Delhi court, wherein she has sought a 15-day exemption to travel to Dubai to attend the IIFA event. She has also sought the court's permission to travel to Abu Dhabi, France and Nepal.
Today (May 11), Praveen Singh, the Additional Sessions Judge has sought a response from the probing agency and has listed the matter for May 18, 2022, for hearing.
