Actor Tiger Shroff, who is gearing up for the release of his action-packed film ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’, addressed rumors of a reconciliation with Disha Patani in a recent interview with Times Now.
Tiger was asked, ‘Are you single? Aapki Zindagi kis Disha me ja rahi hai?’ (In which direction is your life heading?) The actor responded humorously, saying, ‘Meri ek hi Disha hai life mein. Haan, aur wo hai mera kaam’ (I only have one direction in my life. Yes, and that's my work). Got you there, Sir, didn't I?’
The wordplay involving Disha began during the trailer launch of ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.’
When asked what advice he would give Tiger, Akshay Kumar said, ‘Main Tiger se yahi kahunga ki hamesha ek hi Disha mein raha karo’ (I just want to tell Tiger that you should always focus in one direction)!
Akshay's witty remark left Tiger blushing, with producer Jacky Bhagnani embracing him.
Disha and Tiger were previously rumored to be dating. Reports of their breakup emerged in 2023, but neither of them publicly addressed the speculation. However, in a recent interview with Ranveer Allahabadia, Akshay asked Tiger for relationship advice. Tiger admitted, ‘You know I have only once been in a serious relationship in my life.’ The rumored couple collaborated on the music video ‘Befikra’ (2016) and starred together in Ahmed Khan's action-thriller ‘Baaghi 2’ (2018). Disha also made a special appearance in the dance number ‘Do You Love Me’ in ‘Baaghi 3’ (2020).
Tiger's upcoming projects include Jagan Shakti's untitled film and Rohit Shetty's ‘Singham Again,’ where he plays ACP Satya Pattnaik.
Disha has several releases lined up for 2024, including her Tamil debut in the Suriya-Bobby Deol starrer ‘Kanguva’ and Nag Ashwin's ‘Kalki 2898 AD.’
