Actor Genelia Deshmukh sparked pregnancy rumours after she attended an event in Mumbai on September 9. She had donned a short purple dress, but what grabbed everyone’s attention was when the actor held her belly while posing for the paparazzi on the red carpet.
The video of her appearance went viral on social media and netizens started wondering if Genelia was expecting her third baby.
One user wrote, ‘Genelia may be pregnant.’ Another one said, ‘She is expecting the third kid.’
Now, Riteish has now put an end to all the speculations by reacting to the rumours. Sharing a screenshot of a post speculating Genelia’s pregnancy, Riteish wrote: ‘I wouldn’t mind having 2-3 more, but unfortunately, this is untrue.’
Genelia Deshmukh is often questioned about her absence from films post her marriage to Riteish Deshmukh. She has clarified that the decision to stop acting was solely hers and husband Riteish did not stop her from working in films, as speculated by many.
In a recent interview, Genelia reiterated the same and said, ‘I am sure. People say what they want to say but the truth of the matter is that I decided. Till date… like people say ‘Why don’t you do so much more work?’ I don’t feel I can do so much work but I feel I still enjoy that whole part of being with my kids’.
