Shah Rukh Khan, actor and owner of Kolkata Knight Riders, stole the spotlight at an IPL match in Kolkata's Eden Gardens stadium.
A video captured him picking up discarded KKR flags from seats and the floor of the VIP section, handing some to his bodyguard. Fans cheered for him, and he reciprocated with a flying kiss after cleaning up. Shah Rukh also met players and fans on the cricket pitch post-match.
On April 14, Kolkata Knight Riders secured an eight-wicket victory over Lucknow Super Giants. With four wins and one loss in five matches, KKR is currently in second place with eight points. Lucknow Super Giants, with three wins and three losses, are in fifth place with six points.
Shah Rukh's daughter Suhana Khan and younger son AbRam, along with Suhana's BFF Ananya Panday, attended the match. Both Suhana and Ananya shared pictures and videos from the event on social media.
In April, when KKR defeated Delhi Capitals in Visakhapatnam, SRK personally congratulated the players, even planting a kiss on Rishabh Pant's head and giving hugs to other cricketers.
The IPL shared a video of Shah Rukh meeting the teams on the ground post-match. In the video, he is seen applauding players like Kuldeep Yadav, Rishabh Pant, and Ishant Sharma after the KKR vs DC match in Visakhapatnam. Shah Rukh cheered for the teams from the stands of the ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium, and his manager, Pooja Dadlani, also attended the match.
Shah Rukh was last seen in Rajkumar Hirani’s ‘Dunki’, that was released in December 2023. He has not announced his next project yet, but reports suggest that he will be teaming up with his daughter Suhana Khan for a film titled ‘King’.
