Ayushmann Khurrana-starrer, 'Anek' will now release in theatres on May 27. Earlier, the film was slated to hit the screens on May 13.
The makers took the decision to avoid a box office clash with Ranveer Singh-starrer 'Jayeshbhai Jordaar' which will release on 13th May 2022.
Sharing a new poster, Ayushmann announced the film’s new release date on his Instagram. He wrote, “All set on a mission to unite the nation. Jeetega Kaun? Hindustan! Anek in cinemas on 27th May, 2022 (sic).”
Akshaye Widhani, CEO of Yash Raj Films said in a statement that this move will help both the films in getting a fair share of the audiences' attention.
Helmed by Anubhav Sinha, The socio-political thriller 'Anek' is jointly produced by T-Series and Benaras Mediaworks.
