Netizens would remember Kareena Kapoor Khan setting the stage on fire when she grooved to Diljit Dosanjh’s live performance in Jamnagar. Kareena’s thumkas were definitely missed from the Ambani fanfare this time. The Bollywood diva and her husband Saif Ali Khan gave the Ambani wedding a miss as the couple is enjoying their annual holiday with their sons even though the two attended the first pre-wedding celebrations in Jamnagar. Nevertheless, Saif’s children Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan made it to the wedding and were seen having a lot of fun.
Akshay Kumar who is reportedly bride Radhika Merchant’s favourite actor did not attend the wedding either. As reported by Hindustan Times, the actor tested positive for COVID 19 and hence, did not attend the wedding. Along with him, his wife Twinkle Khanna is reportedly also isolating herself.
Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli is another celebrity power couple, who were absent from the Ambani wedding. The couple is currently in London, enjoying their personal life with children Vamika and Akaay. A viral video showed Anushka and Virat attending American vocalist Krishna Das’ Kirtan in London. Virat had flown to London to join his family soon after brining the T20 World Cup trophy home. Rumours suggest that the couple has settled down in London.
Who can forget the iconic moment when three Khans of industry, Shah Rukh, Aamir and Salman united and danced together at Anant and Radhika’s pre-wedding bash in Jamnagar. Everyone anticipated a similar iconic moment this time at their wedding, however, that did not happen. While Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan made it to the wedding, Aamir was missing from the grand celebrations. Aamir must have been caught up with work but his newly married daughter Ira Khan and son-in-law Nupur Shikhare attended the Ambani wedding.
The Punjabi singer and actor, Diljit Dosanjh is another celebrity who couldn’t attend the Ambani wedding. Diljit was one of the major highlights at Anant Ambani’s pre-wedding celebrations in Jamnagar. In viral videos, Anant was even heard requesting Diljit to perform for half an hour more. Bollywood celebs and the Ambani family grooved to the Punjabi singer’s tunes. However, this time around, Diljit ishas been out of India. The singer had sold out shows in Canada and hence was absent from the Ambani wedding.
Bollywood fashionista Sonam Kapoor did not attend the Ambani wedding either. Her sister Rhea Kapoor was Radhika Merchant’s stylist and father Anil Kapoor was seen having a blast with Ranveer Singh and Rajinikanth.
