Shah Rukh Khan delighted fans as he shared the second song from ‘Dunki’, titled ‘Nikle The Kabhi Hum Ghar Se’. This is the third promotional material from his much-awaited upcoming film.

While sharing the song, King Khan wrote a heartfelt note. He wrote, ‘Today I am sharing this song that came to my heart with you. Raju and Sonu seem like one of our own just by name. And this song which both of them have composed is also their own. It’s about our family members… It’s about our soil… It’s about finding solace in the arms of our country. Sometimes we all go away from our home… from the village… from the city… to make a life. But our hearts remain in our homes… in the country only. My favorite from Dunki.’

Before this, ‘Lutt Putt Gaya’ was released as drop 2.

Sung by Sonu Nigam, the song is about the journey that Shah Rukh Khan’s character and his friends go on in the film. Lyrics for ‘Nikle The Kabhi Hum Ghar Se’ have been penned by Javed Akhtar and soundtrack has been composed by Pritam.

‘Dunki’ talks about the subject of the mass migration of Indian youth to countries such as Canada and England.

According to the press notes, the song adds ‘another layer of emotion’ to the film, about the ‘heart-warming tale of four friends and their quest to reach foreign shores.’

Directed by Rajkumar Hirani and co-starring Boman Irani, Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Vikram Kochhar, and Anil Grover, ‘Dunki’ is written by Abhijat Joshi, Rajkumar Hirani, and Kanika Dhillon. The movie will be released in theatres on December 22.
