Pan Nalin’s ‘Chhello Show’ is India's official entry for the Best International Feature Film category at the 95th Academy Awards. The screening of the Gujarati film was organized in Mumbai on Wednesday, October 12, and it was attended by several celebrities.
Deepika Padukone, Kiara Advani, Aditya Roy Kapur, Vidya Balan, Chitrangada Singh, Kirti Kulhari, Ashutosh Gowarikar, Rasika Duggal, Shakun Batra, Rohit Saraf, Babil Khana and Angad Bedi and many more were present at the event.
A video from the screening is doing the rounds on social media, in which Deepika is seen posing for the camera with ‘Chhello Show’s child actor, Bhavin Rabari. She also planted a kiss on the little one’s cheek.
Deepika Padukone looked gorgeous in minimal makeup look with a full-sleeved white top paired with baggy pants and white sandals.
Actor Vidya Balan was also present at the event with husband and ‘Chhello Show’ producer Siddharth Roy Kapur. The couple looked extremely beautiful as they posed for the paps.
‘Chhello Show’ director Pan Nalin was dressed in an all black suit and a hat. He was all smiles as he posed with the entire team.
‘Chhello Show’ is all set to release in theatres on October 14. It stars Bhavin Rabari, Bhavesh Shrimali, Richa Meena, Dipen Raval and Paresh Mehta. The film was premiered at Tribeca Film Festival in 2021. It also won the Golden Spike at the 66th Valladolid International Film Festival in October 2021.
Pan Nalin is best known for films such as ‘Samsara’, ‘Valley Of Flowers’, ‘Angry Indian Goddesses’ and ‘Ayurveda: Art Of Being’. He pays homage to the cinema of the past through this ‘Last Film Show’ (‘Chhello Show’).
