Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone witnessed the epic FIFA World Cup final match between Argentina and France together at the stadium in Qatar. The ‘Simmba’ actor has shared a bunch of pictures and videos from the stadium on Instagram stories and has praised his lady love, calling her his ‘asli trophy (real trophy). ‘Asli trophy toh mere haath mein hai (the real trophy is with me). So glad and grateful that we witnessed this together,’ he wrote.
After unveiling the world cup trophy along with former Spanish player Iker Casillas, Deepika joined her husband in the audience.
Ranveer also shared a video in which he said, ‘World Cup trophy ke saath meri trophy (my trophy with the world cup trophy).’
The actor went on to share a few short videos of them watching the thrilling match. In one of the videos, Ranveer is giving Deepika a hug as they witness the ‘historic moment’ of Argentina winning the match.
The ‘Cirkus’ actor also shared his reaction on Twitter and wrote, ‘What have I just witnessed ?!?! Historic. Iconic. Pure magic. FIFA World Cup.’
After returning from Qatar, Ranveer will continue promoting his forthcoming film ‘Cirkus’ which has a cameo by Deepika. The Rohit Shetty directorial will release in theatres ahead of Christmas on December 23.
