Ranveer Singh plays the role of legendary 'Haryana Hurricane' Kapil Dev who led an underdog team and beat two-time winners West Indies to win India's maiden cricket world cup.
Deepika Padukone, co-producer of the film, plays the role of Romi Dev, Kapil’s wife. The film released on December 24.
