Actors Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu met Indian President Droupadi Murmu in Serbia along with team Citadel India.
Sharing photos from the meet, Varun said it was an absolute joy and an honour to meet her.
Varun wrote, 'Team Citadel India had the privilege of meeting the Hon’ble President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu Ji in Serbia. What an absolute joy and honour to meet you ma’am.'
For the occasion, Samantha wore a black sweatshirt with denim pants, while Varun opted for a blue shirt and pants.
Directors Raj and DK shared a picture from the meet as well and revealed that the honourable president likes comedies but she has said she would give their action series a try.
The team of 'Citadel India' is in Serbia to shoot a leg of the series.
The show is a spin-off of Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden’s 'Citadel'. The Indian adaptation is being produced by Raj & DK.
